Hospitality Consulting

clarity. consistency. creative execution.

A Note from the Founder
Gesamtkunstwerk — a German term for “total work of art” — has always inspired me: the seamless union of architecture, design, art, and function.
My background in interior architecture prior to becoming a Chef and Restaurateur shapes how I see hospitality. A restaurant, hotel, or bar is a living work of design — where lighting, layout, sound, service, food, and feeling all matter.
Guided by Bauhaus principles of form and function, The Wise Visitor blends creative direction, operational expertise, and high-touch execution into one cohesive vision.

The Wise Visitor Consulting

The Wise Visitor is a boutique hospitality and culinary consulting studio led by chef, operator and creative director Ryan Costanza. We work with indie restaurants, hotels, corporate groups, and private clients to bring clarity, structure, and creative fire to every phase of a project. From concept and menu development to staff training, operational systems, and post-opening tune-ups.

Every client gets direct access to Ryan, not just a junior associate or someone lacking the 20+ years of experience.

With a deep background in award-winning kitchens, multi-unit operations, and brand building, he brings real-world experience to the table and works alongside a tight-knit team of specialists who know how to execute.

We’ve been trusted to help launch beloved neighborhood spots, refine national rollouts, and fix what’s not working behind the scenes. Headquartered in Nashville, with roots in LA and San Diego, The Wise Visitor takes on projects across the U.S. and internationally.

If you’re building something meaningful or trying to course-correct something that should be, we’re here to help you do it smarter, faster, and with intention.
